During the pandemic, a community leader cum a grandparent to a preschooler saw the need for child-sized masks for his grandson’s schoolmates. The idea inspired action, as many residents sprung forth to donate money and materials, design and sew masks, and pack and distribute these gifts to various pre-schools.

In collaboration with Jurong Central Zone A RC, we successfully distributed more than 4,100 reusable children masks to neighboring childcare centres since June 2020.
